Do you understanding of the universe may be the human brain?
People evolved to eat and reproduce. They have good reason to have larger brains and be able to make tools, adapt and improve. However, it is possible, in order to understand macro, chaotic nature of the universe is beyond human understanding? Think of a monkey looking at the map PC mother. Or look at looking at the puzzle. We are used to dealing with the unimaginable amount of space, but ignore the capacity of the mind? Note: This is not a religious issue.
Oh, intelligence. It's so nice to meet here on Y / s a good question. I think that Einstein, Hawkins, and Schweitzer, three incredibly susceptible human beings and geniuses, seems to be able to understand some of the depth and breadth of the universe. There is so much "there" must be further explored and realized that even when a man and science should be to keep him, he would still be monumental and seemingly infinite size and activity. The fact that we have no contact "other" other life (so) keeps our limited knowledge and is purely speculative. To be able to these reflections on the universe, we should have more data, I think.
